“But those who hate Him He will repay to their face by destruction; He will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate Him.” (Deut. 7:10)
Do you know who the Lord is referring to when He says — those who hate Him? Do you know that many believers routinely demonstrate their hatred of God on a daily basis? If you are content with the willful, deliberate sin in your life, I have some bad news for you: according to the One who made the rules, disobeying God’s commands is to hate God! (John 3:19-21, John 15:18-25) God is Light, and to sin is to reject His Light and love evil. If you disagree with that, you are not disagreeing with me, but God, the same God who gives you His Spirit. Do you love God, or hate Him? Because whether or not you obey His commands is the very way that He discerns the genuineness of your “love” for Him, the sincerity of your profession. Now if you believe Satan’s deception, the message heard within the church today, you have a completely different perspective as to what “loving God” or “hating God” entails.
If you considered willful, deliberate sin, as a demonstration of your hatred of God, would you view sin differently? I bet you would. But instead, the deception within the church message today asserts that Jesus came so that all your willful, deliberate sin might be forgiven. Please understand, there is a huge difference between Jesus being the forgiveness of past sins for those who genuinely repent, as opposed to perceiving Jesus as being a free-pass — a license to sin. Remember, Satan’s deception will always attempt to bring comfort to your life of sin. If you believe that Jesus came so that believers no longer had to obey the Lord’s commands, then you are deceived and know not of God! (John 8:51)
The question that I have is this: What do you consider to be a demonstration of “hating God?” Blowing up a church? Simply denying His existence? Or perhaps, not going to church regularly, if at all; or perhaps even, not agreeing with the church? Do you not know who God describes as those who hate Him? It isn’t those who simply deny His existence that He is talking about in His Word as those who hate Him, for sure He is including all those who DO NOT AGREE WITH HIS WORD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDS! “Therefore, take care to follow the commands, decrees, and laws I give you today.” (Deut. 7:11) “Oh, that old testament God… thank goodness we now have Jesus!” Christians say. Well, let me tell you, Jesus did not come to replace that old testament God, He is that old testament God! (John 14:21-24) For sure, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Heb. 13:8)
Believing your pastor or priest over God is to make man out to be “god.” The Word of God makes clear that obedience to His Word is the decision that one must make to be included in His family. To, “believe in Jesus,” is to believe His Word and agree that you must follow His teaching to be welcomed into God’s kingdom. A decision that must be made from the heart to receive His Spirit. If you know the Word of God, then you know that sin is your obstacle to overcome and Jesus is your freedom from the sin that binds. If you trust rather in the myths of man, then you believe that Jesus was sent simply so that those who “believe in Him” can continue sinning and be forgiven. If you choose to die with Christ to sin, you will be given His Spirit and the power to walk in His Light. If you choose to keep your life of sin, you will lose your eternal life in the spirit. (John 12:23-26)
If you continue in your willful, deliberate sin once you have come to a knowledge of the Truth, then your willful, deliberate sin demonstrates your hatred of God. I do not care what your religion, pastor, or priest says, I care what God says! (2 Thess. 1:5-9) Obey His commands, otherwise, you have believed in vain! (1 Cor. 15:2) Fear the Lord!
